Who we are

My World is a non-profit organisation based in South Oxfordshire.

The organisation was set up in 2007 in response to the need for a structured summer timetable of activities for three young adults with autism.

The programme was a great success and confirmed our belief in the     benefits of such activities.

In 2008 we saw an increase in the numbers attending, giving more young adults with autism the opportunity to enjoy meaningful activities during their half term and summer holidays.

Building on the success of these holiday programmes and acknowledging the national need for longer term support for adults on the autistic spectrum, we have then expanded the programme to provide similar support all year round.

From 2012 My World expanded to a day support service offering person-centred programmes tailored to the person’s wishes and needs. programmes aim to encourage personal development  and empower young people to reach their potential and try new things.

Additional to services based in Benson we can offer an outreach service to people with high functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome this can be delivered in the person home and/or another location this can be from three houses above.
